Ingredients
2 cups thick poha
1 large potato (peeled and cut into very small cubes)
1 onion (finely chopped)
2 tbsp raw peanuts
½ tsp turmeric powder, salt to taste, 1 tsp lemon juice.
Tempering: 2 tbsp oil, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 2 green chillies.
Cooking Instructions
- Wash Bhau poha in a strainer and let it sit for 5-10 minutes to soften.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add peanuts, mustard seeds and green chillies.
- Add the potato cubes. Cover and cook on low heat until the potatoes are tender.
- Add onions and sauté until translucent. Stir in turmeric and salt.
- Add the softened Poha Toss gently for 2-3 minutes
- Turn off the heat. Add lemon juice, garnish with coriander.
Tasty Batata Poha (Aloo Poha) is ready to serve.
